And Stef Ratchford definitely is. Joel's not the fastest but definitely makes up for it elsewhere and with Richie Myler fit, he's not exactly slowing the halves down.

I think our lack of pace is either being exaggerated, or is just another thinly veiled "I hate Chris Riley" thread.

We do have quick players those named above. However, the issue as i see it is that we seldom seem to be able to get loose ball a go for the line we always get caught.

20 - 30 metres out we are as good as other teams but further out we definately struggle. Other teams seem to just get the ball and go like the clappers sometime scoring and sometimes gaining much better field position.

I guess genuine pace and a touch of power in the halfs and pace and power on the wings and in the centre. In the forwards front row of pure power and back row with some pace and a ball handing swift running loose will do for next season. That would be nice

I don't think it's that we struggle, I think it's that this season we've decided to play a tighter, more forwards oriented game that doesn't rely on throwing the ball about nearly as much. I know we're used to Wire scoring from everywhere, but I think it was deliberate to try and rein that in this season. And you've got to say, with our pack it was pretty effective.

Dont disagree, i have thought that we might be picking up loose ball and then going to ground to get the plays set up and when i think i've seen that we have been very effective. I guess i'm thinking that if we pick up dropped ball while defending we should charge for the line and score, ever the optimist!!

Hate? That's a strong word. If I think we can improve on Riley by signing a world class winger does that make me hate him?



We do lack pace.

We certainly do lack pace at times and it hasn't exactly helped having Myler and Atkins, two players who do have genuine pace, out for long periods with leg injuries.

For christ's sake, you can't even get Monty Python references correct.
