| I couldn't care less what Wane or Wigan do. Once again we have proved we are the top club this side of the pennines, I am confident of beating anyone in the play offs and expect us to get to old trafford again. I am more bothered about this weekend as I have been to Perpignan many times yet have never seen us win. Smith talks about building momentum- well prove it and don't get mullered with a weak team.

| Quote Rogues Gallery="Rogues Gallery"You obviously don't realise that you are wrong.
That was how it used to be.
There is now an official RFL appointed timekeeper. On Friday I believe it was Gerry Kershaw. The salient point is that the clock was stopped with 5:03 remaining and not restarted for a complete set of six. What is unsure is whose fault it was?
Did the referee wave time back on or did the timekeeper forget to restart it?'"
Are you sure?
That seems like a poor decision, even by RFL standards.

Positive, check the RFL site (usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday)
www.therfl.co.uk/
Under the matchday link you will find Referee Appointments. There you will see not only the referee, the touch judges, etc but also the timekeeper. It was Gerry Kershaw for the Wigan v Hull game.
It is only for Super League games though.

| Quote silvertail-wolf="silvertail-wolf"I was going to post this on Thursday and I believe that wane is clearly looking for a play off crack at the giants in their 1st playoff game
He fielded a SL sub stranded team on Friday clearly showing his cards and you can bet your bottom dollar the same will happen against Leeds
He doesn't want to play us away and is cowardly opting to beat Huddersfield over the hills
Clever or coward I just hope that the giants smash them to bits .'"
Two strong squads for Thursday's game. As strong as they can be, given injuries I think.

| So why is playing Huddersfield better for Wigan or Leeds?
Wigan have drawn with Wire at home (should have won) and with a very inexperienced team were leading at Wire with about five minutes to go.
Leeds beat Wire at Headingley and lost to a last minute drop goal at Wire, as with Wigan Leeds had an understrength side.
Wigan lost both games v Huddersfield, and Huddersfield have beaten Leeds three times this season.

Widnes have beaten us twice, would love to play them more than any of the top 4 teams. Get my point? Wigan would prefer Hudds than Wire or Leeds. You really don't know much about the great game do you.
Timekeeping.....classic.

As I previously stated, that no longer applies.

It appears that Mr. Kershaw's services are not required this weekend!!!!!!!
