Well said, it is obviously too simple a concept for some to understand with the usual classic retort that historically we've 'done it' more times via play off's than FPTP, or it's just sour grapes you knew what the rules were at the start of the season etc
The current system is flawed IMO and judging by the continued debate I'm not alone
