What do you consider short noitice? Haven't the games that have been changed given about 4-5 weeks in advance? But i agree spreading games across the week may make a difference, but some who can't go will be able to make it too, just makes considering a season ticket a more considered purchase.

I assume the club don't set the tuck shop prices, they obviously put the catering out to tender.
I think the tender is held by heathcotes of Liverpool.
That's why half the time a scouser is serving.

Never really understood the obcession some folk seem to have with fixtures being moved for TV purposes. They make clear in November which rounds are yet to be confirmed and it doesn't take a genius to look and work out which games are likely to be moved to a Friday or Saturday.

The only games I can think of which have been moved this year are Widnes last week and Leeds H/A. At the end of the day without Sky Sports we wouldn't have a professional game.

Some people plan their lives quite far in advance, this season has probably been the worst for me in the sense of fixture changes, even recently the Widnes and Wakefield games missed due to fixture changes. I have to give more notice to change than Sky give us, so that pretty much screws me up.

The RFL should go back to the playoff format they had last season when attendances were higher, if it wasn't broke why change it?
