From what I saw it started when Mike Monas scored his try and something happened to cause the stewards to start to eject a Salford fan (didn't see what caused that to happen) but with a but of reasoning the fan was allowed to stay in the ground. Another fan at the front was getting irate about something with the stewards and Koukash went over to calm things down. What did he say on Radio Manchester?

He either:


A) unprofessionally acccused a Warrington player of throwing a bottle into the crowd after listening to hearsay.

Or

B) out and out lied as he was stood in the crowd at the time about a Warrington player throwing a bottle into the crowd.

What an utter tool. No class whatsoever.

Very serious statement to make(not an allegation, he stated it as fact). As far as I'm concerned he's not all he seems to be...He has risen without trace and proclaimed himself to be a multi-miilionaire....There's very little trace of him on the usual internet sources which wouldn't be the case if he was indeed a very wealthy man. I fear he is a scandal about to happen.

if you don't approve of making unsubstantiated allegations then why suggest he's a fake millionaire?

I am not standing up for the man here but I think he made the statement in the heat of the moment and probably regret it when he knows all the facts. I listened to his interview and he did not name the player who he alleged threw the bottle although he said something on the lines of 'we know who the player is'.

The man appears to be passionate for his club and IMO is trying to get fans on his side to retain them for the long term. By making all these noises about signing world class players it will give the Salford fans hope. He will have to deliver these top players for next season to keep the fans. He has a big task at Salford basically it will take almost a full team rebuild to get them where he wants them to be next season i.e top 4.

This incident has been blown out of proportion and must not detract from a very professional performance from the Wire this afternoon. You can only play who is in front of you but special mention to Myler, Ratch, Westwood, and Carvell had one his best games for a while. Nice to see some of the old form of M Monas.
