I will never forget Hull away in 2011. I took a uni mate who is from Birmingham and grew up playing Union, he was blown away by it. We got the bus into town and walked up to Parkers, went to go in and he said we can't go in there, its all home fans. Told him not to be daft and in we went, great banter with all the fans as per usual, as coach loads were going past into the stadium with fans singing etc. He turned to me and said I'm going to start following RL this is brilliant, we hadn't even got into the stadium! He is planning on coming to Wembley with us both times this year and also coming up here for the Wigan game. I think we take for granted many great aspects of our sport and get carried away with the criticism at times. RL isn't perfect, but it is bloody brilliant!
Looked absolutely fantastic, the RFL pulled up a spectacular weekend, the weather seemed to agree, there's the atmosphere that we've been looking for. Manchester brings the best out of Rugby League. What a weekend!!!
