It's a concern for us but a concern for the sport too because players like him don't make the grade anymore. He's not particularly fast, strong or big but he's almost always the best player on the pitch when he plays so what clubs look for in players now doesn't always mean they are what makes a good rugby league player.
Without him we're a completely different team.
We've been in four finals in four years and have won more big games than we've lost in recent years, but we've lost heavily to Salford home and away, London and Widnes in the last three years. Is there something to be worried/upset in that? Is our squad not as good as we'd like to think? Are we taking our foot off the gas in these games too much? Are we displaying the wrong attitude? Are we just thinking that losing to teams that won't effect our league position doesn't really matter? Does it even matter?
