Head for town at about 9:00 for some breakfast/coffee/stroll around a few shops
Head to the pub at about 11:00
Go to the Etihad to watch City v Sunderland
Head back to town after the game for some dinner and a few beers
Head over the Old Trafford at about 16:30
Watch the game...

Not thought about what I'll do afterwards yet.

Probably get the 1.33pm train from Heald Green to Piccadilly then train or tram to Old Trafford

Sunday, I'm jet washing the path, but I might put it on myself, after entering THAT place. I will be a pilgrim in an unholy land. Well, so will danburge and Citywire, as well

You do realise that 3,000 City fans - y'know, the ones that actually bother attending City matches rather than watching them on telly, those City fans - enter Old Trafford at least once every year don't you?

It's not really that big a deal.

I'm not a lover of the ground's owners, but I've been inside it plenty of times.

Get me more hours in the week, more money in my bank account, less ear-ache of the Mrs, and I'd follow City far and wide.

Then all depends on what the result is as to what happens after the game
Lose: Probably head home to cry - Win: Head to town and get s***faced even if I'm going on my own
