This is the obvious answer to the caps in the NRL and RU being significantly higher than ours, but we need more money coming into the sport first - we need to get a better deal next time the Sky rights are on offer, and maybe hope for some decent competition to drive the price up.

International sport in general is rubbish.

Fair enough individual competitors such as athletes, swimmers etc need to represpent "Team GB" at events like the Olympics to get the funding required to compete at all, but team sports like rugby and football belong to clubs.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

RL fans wont have it though, they truly believe the international game is "on the up" and we should all put it before our clubs and "get behind it"
