That wasn't the lowest priced ticket. Reality is that you can get into Old Trafford for £28 for the lowest price seats. Yes you can pay a lot more but ticket prices is not why that game had a relatively poor attendance.
Although based on an incorrect assumption, you're right about vulnerability. On a slight tangent, some bloke said to my old man t'other week "Warrington are dependent on TV money, if TV went away, you wouldn't survive." He's right. It's not just the money we'd miss, it's the exposure that leads to sponsorship which would also drop. We're very vulernable to losing TV income. Then again, so are Manchester United and all football clubs.
Back to crowds - our ground is 80% full most weeks. Of the 11k that go, about 72% of those are ST holders and therefore the cash is "guaranteed". As long as that stays about the same, and the Salary Cap isn't raised too much, and Sky don't do one, we'll be fine. One off drops in play off crowds are largely irrelevant.
