I thought there was some talk that although she has gone to Channel 4 she could be staying on for some sports. If so I hope she keeps her R.L. spot.
I think she is genuinely interested in our game and enjoys it and the people involved in it. This is especially good coming from someone with her background. Most of the people we see on tv are, of course, from the game itself but it is important to have more general presenters too. Watching her during the Olympics when she was asked to cover lots of sports that were new to her it was clear that she really did her homework and worked hard. Most impressive.
I suppose the BBC could foist anyone on us!
As for her love for the Wires I'm less sure of that. I think she has a soft spot for Leeds.
Her sexuality is of no importance whatsoever and I suspect she is a very genuine person. If we have to lose her let's hope we get someone with the same class.

Quote: matt king's cat "Think Inverdale would prefer to cut off parts of his anatomy with a rusty hacksaw then soil himself introducing RL Lefty. I watched a little bit of the beeb's 6 nations (i know, i know) coverage and on a couple of occasions Jiffy mentioned about how RL coaching (Shaun Edwards and Mike Ford) had improved Yawnions defence over the last few years. Inverdale squirming in his seat and desperation to change the subject was excellent viewing.'"
