Looking at both teams line ups and form over this season I would expect Wire to win by at least 16.........but as has been shown over the last few years, form goes out of the window in these pressure games. Class should tell in the end and that's why I would still expect a Wire win this week, albeit closer than many think. Saints have nowt to lose and so I'm hoping we play as we have done twice previously this season, once against you guys and the other against Leeds....repeat those performances and you never know!

Another 50 years waiting , looking at warringtons performance last night .
You where played off the park by a team that "used to be good " ![]()
I know we have made the play-offs in the past but se were no better than this year's Wakefield in them. So they can all be forgotten really.
This is only our third consecutive year in the play-offs as the club we are now. In 2009 we finished 10th and didn't qualify. Last year we got to the eliminator and I think we'll be there again in two weeks.
That is hardly awful. We're just an emerging top club as opposed to an established top club.

I think only Sainys have won both the CC and the Grand final since the CC final was moved to August. It is very tough to do and seeing as we have won 3 out of the last 4 CC cups that is probably more likely the reason as to why we have struggled, we only made it about 3 times prior to that.

Up there with the 2010 Wigan team. It was truly class. Even after last night Ill say; the current Saints are a shadow of that team.
I wished Wire would have made more of a game of it last night but the loss means nothing to me. |
