Section 4, part 5... 'All applicants for SL must have their own well' . Fortunately our ground was built on the site of a brewery, otherwise we would have to have cheated and piped water in from the Mersey.
You will have to ask Ian R what he had in mind, but I suspect he may have been thinking of the indoor training facilities for the 1st team which were enlarged to allow the U20's to train alongside them. Or perhaps the corners we filled in at the HJ . Don't know.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

I see what you did there, you're replacing Bradford are you? For God's sake don't sign Ian Sibbitt.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

Something I asked if it was viable to do at the LSV , apparently it was 2/3 years to break even on the saving on your water rates , it has baffled me why new stadia dont have solar panels fitted to the south facing stand roofs , or even wind turbines as I have seen on new industrial units in Liverpool

Not sure of the economics of either as I suppose they are very dependant upon current grant and feed in tariffs situations. But they will presumably have a fairly hefty capital outlay at the outset. I understand Leigh are just breaking even after losing the £100k RFL grant for this year, so it would be hard for them to come up with free £. I assume Wire must have done some feasibility study and looked at the payback period, but don't know.

Darlings of Super League: |

| I'd have thought the clout to do pre-season training in Australia would come under 'better facilities', even if we don't own Australia (yet).
