Looked un-fit today, and was blowing every time he took the ball up (first half, especially), but improved second half
I'm yet to see this NRL gamebreaker, all I see is an OK Super League player'"
Lefty you and I must be talking about a different player & game.
Can I just reiterate I am talking about Trent Waterhouse who was playing for Warrington Wolves against Hull FC today.

| Yes, the same person who hardly took the ball up in the first half, and when he did, he looked ####ed.
I made a point of watching Waterhouse today, and once again, I was underwhelmed for someone who arrived with such a big reputation
I'm not in the habit of slagging our players off, but as I said earlier, he leaves me cold. He'll still get my support, though.
I don't have an issue with the guy's defence, I'm just not seeing an NRL leading player, with Test match experience, that's getting a big contract (I presume).

| I sort of agree with lefty, Waterhouse is like Nikau or Rauhihi , he's not bad but I thought he would be more given that he was a top player in the NRL and played for the Kangaroos and State of Origin etc.
I would rate Darren Burns and Sid Domic above him and neither of them were close to being rep players in Australia.
Having said that if you went back to the first season Michael Monaghan and Matt King were here I would have said the same about them, and they went on to be top players from their second season with us.

| Most tackles, second most marker tackles, second most offloads, second most tries among the forwards. His metres and carries are about average for our pack. All in a brand new team.
Still, he leaves Lefty 'cold'.

| Yes he does leave me cold.
His stats are good, as he's not been injured/suspended yet, so he plays every game.
When he starts replicating his NRL form/reputation, then I'll start praising him.
Until then, as I say, I wont slag him off
