And i wouldnt be expecting that anytime soon. Operators are trialling it now, the first possible deployment of it will be from Everything Everywhere (T-Mobile and Orange) when it happens.
The spectrum which 4G will use has not been auctioned yet. T-Mobile and Orange can do something on another frequency from re-using there 1800mhz frequencies, similar to what O2 and Vodafone have done with the 900mhz frequencies for deployment of UMTS 900. However Vodafone and O2 have apparently objected to Everything Everywhere doing this, despite them doing it themselves for UMTS 900.
