Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr:7891.jpg |

| Our 20's have been great this year. Spanner (Lee Spencer) and Alan Hunte are doing a great job. Like Karlos said I would like to see a few given a chance in the first team.

| They have got some talented players in their 20's Salford including Fages, Sneyd, Jon Ford (they kept getting great passes to him and he kept cutting through us down that left hand side), Evalds ran great lines from full back. I'd expect some of those to break through into their first team soon, with Patten retiring they need a full back for a start.
Although Salford played really well there were too many errors and penalties conceded from us, which led to low possession and some of the poor defensive efforts.
Not an excuse but we were missing players for various reasons though;
Promoted to 1st team - Dwyer, Currie, O'Brien and even Blythe and Williams when compared to last week.
Players who are on dual reg - Glenn Riley, Laithwaite
Others missing compared to last week were - Saltonstall and Finn.
Then there's Ben and Rhys Evans.
At the end of the day the aim is to produce players for the 1st team, and that's what is happening.

Is Ben Evans ok now ? I believe he is a good prospect. How's Danny Bridge doing ?
