Oh I agree 100%. In fact, I made reference to those in the 'Wire Ultras' who obviously knew who was throwing flares and smoke bombs and refused to tell any officials.
However, I am personally buoyed by the reaction that those people were given on this board, when compared with the reaction that this accused racist got on their board.
I think you summed it up well with the idea that there will people who come down to Wembley with the sole intention of starting trouble and those people will be shunned by many of the people on this board (I'm not sure about Dropkick) I would hope that racism, to quote one of my favorite Stewart Lee jokes, "is entirely at odds with the values of [the people who frequent the Wigan forum]."
Ultimately, I think it was the usual suspects who were towing the usual Wigan Ultras line.
