Quote: Rob Wire "I could have put it down as a fishing trip but nar it wasn't, without looking at the fixtures closely i just presumed with Widnes being away in the last game and us at home that it would have been at Widnes.
Back to Chris Hill, i think its a great oppertunity for Tony Smith to reward high class, consistent performances. He's more than earnt his chance to start in the front row especially with Moz not playing, we need to start this game better than quite a few of our previous games so our current best front rower should start against Widnes, it will be a great reward for all of his performances this year.
Neither Paul Wood or Garreth Carvell deserve to start but realistically one should start along side Chris Hill, i'd go with Cravell and Hill because Paul Wood has been well off his game for quite a while now.'"
Just a slight note of caution with Chris Hill, he started against Wakefield and I thought it was his least effective game for us to date, some props are just better from the bench (Wood for one).
Hopefully he'll do better the next time he gets the chance. Cooper was the same at Wigan, been great off the bench, starts at Wigan and got bullied.
