At Wigan - Wire games it's usually the away support that generates the top atmosphere. Its the same at Wigan/Saints games too.

But last night I was amazed how muted your support was. You came to life with 2 minutes to go and the predictable barmy army.

He probably couldn't hear us other the... oh wait they were silent apart from a couple of "Wigans". Mustn't have heard us over the sound of a ty table cloth wafting in the breeze and the sound of a few thousand wigan fans leaving.

I can understand why our fans weren't as noisy as usual. When you go to the JJB and you see all its pretty flags, you can't help but be in awe of the originality. 2012 and their stadium looks like Greenwood crescent on a jubilee/world cup year, it's the stuff all other sporting institutions aspire to. Now, if they could get those "f*ck off ref" chants in sync, they'd have an atmosphere as intimidating as La Bombonera!

it's funny that 'cause i was in the ground from 6.30 and to be honest you wern't that loud, perhaps that explains why when everyone else turned up they couldn't hear you!

funny how all the flag waving stopped! even funnier the wigan walk before the end from the east stand with only 2 points in & 7 mins to go...very wiganesque!

Is it just me but every time Wigan scored,i thought a backing tape was been played of the crowd cheering.It sounded very badly recorded.

The away was in good voice.

I'm slightly confused when people are saying we were flat. Where I was it was pumping. Couldnt hear much of Wigan either.
Mind you, Friday night in my front room is better than the HJ.
