A good place to park nearer ground is on Newtown Working Mens Club car park, they will charge a couple of quid, but its off the road and secure.
Its on Scot Lane which runs parallel to Robin Park Road (where the retail park is). |

North stand capacity is 5418. For unreserved they normally hold back 10% of that. |

You know, it's like some people want our great game to go the same way as wendyball. There isn't a single set of fans I have a problem with, and I really can't understand why anyone would, or why someone would refuse to go to a ground based on their fans. We should be proud of, and celebrate the way our sport is, not work ourselves into a frenzy about who has the 'worst' fans, it is childish and downright bizarre.

It looks like the Brigantes Bodyforms are giving rugby a bad name in the last few weeks they have been linked with acts of vandalism, attacks on opposition fans, racist chanting and last week were the target of police anti-hooligan survellience teams. Not really the things rugby league is usually linked with, perhaps Wigan as a club should take a stance before things go too far. |
