| The rule states they had to give no try, I agree with previous comments, i'd like to see a rule where, as soon as the ball makes contact with player/sticks/ground - that should be the point of deciding if the attacking player is within 10.
However, Myler should have got up and played his team on side.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| He was offside. Feels a bit harsh because it didn't impact he play but offside is offside. Can't grumble.

| Did the offside rule always work like this? I'm sure when I used to play it didn't matter if you was offside from a kick unless you attempted a tackle without giving the opposition player 10 yards.

| I know that the issue was if Higham was within the 10 from when a player touched the ball - which he was - but was he more than 10 from where the ball bounced?
I appreciate that according to the rules of the game we was offside - and was largely down to him with Silverwood vehemently pointing to him being in front of the kick - but it does seem very odd to me that this was only because Leeds failed to field the ball. They therefore effectively being 'rewarded' for not diffusing the kick. Surely this can't be right...
That said, full credit to Leeds - and it was lack of respect for the ball that ultimately cost us the game. However, as Leeds themselves proved last season; it's not how you start, but how you finish. Not that we've started poorly whatsoever. Indeed, we have more points now than we did 5 games into last season. It's also totally unrealistic to expect any team to go a whole season withour defeat (not that I'm saying anyone has alluded to this), and losing to Leeds is no disgrace.
I love rugby league, and I love Warrington. So I say roll on next week...
... and C'MON YOU WIRES!!

good post , i too agree too many errors and stupid penaltys , pity we had a few quality players out with injury & suspension but we have a good squad now and last nights team was more than capable of beating leeds unfortunatly some of the seniors players had very rare off games
