I've played football on this sort of pitch before and, yes, if you go on with bare knees and elbows you'll lose a lot of skin and it'll hurt.

Wear something thin over the top of your joints - like the skins they have in American Football - and it's fine. Apparently Ben Cockayne was the only person bright enough (!) to do so last night.

Widnes have admitted a few problems with grazes on their new I-Pitch, however this will be resolved as soon as they upgrade to the I-Pitch 2.

They're saying it was the cold that made it so bad. It's odd that all the complaints are coming from Wakey and Widnes are saying nowt (or maybe not odd...) but did any of our lot complain when we played on Boxing Day?

Just Glad that we wont be playing there till the last game of the season!!

I think they should wait for iPitch 3. Word has it that the new version has a bigger pitch, clearer grass and a 12 megapixel camera.
