He's a promising prospect. Only young but has bags of confidence in his ability. Played v Widnes on Boxing day. Quite good with the boot as well.

exception young talent, who showed great promise in the boxing day match in which due to the injury to myler he got the most game time out of the youngsters.
for me i think he's right up there with rhys evens on potential. the later has just has had his opportunity. shaw has better balls skills an balance with great movement but evens has tht raw factor! can see then both in the 1st team for the future.
shaw will develop i think and add more strings to his bow where as i think evens is more one dimensional with his dynamic speed and footwork.
Shaw has signed a month loan with cas to see how he goes in the friendlys!
