| Maybe we're all being a little myopic here, about our own pllayers.
Let's face it, Atkins came up well short 12 months ago. Despite his excellent season for us this year, last year's letdown will have gone against him
Myler, not good enough yet, v Aussies/Kiwis. Maybe in a year or so's time.
As for some of the others, Ablett...RL's equivalent of Blackpool Rock, he's got 'AVERAGE' running right the way through him.
Bailey. Is this some kind of joke. The Aussies will pinpoint him, not for just being poor, but for his notorious short fuse. An accident waiting to happen.
Sinfield. His decent games of Test rugby can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Great SL player though.
McIlorum. This IS a joke, right?
Congratulations McBanana. You've now just elevated yourself to the position of Britains Top Funnyman. More jokes in an hour than TimVine, and making us laugh for more time than the duration of a Ken Dodd gig. DIRE. Last one out, turn the lights off.
At least Atkins will now have a full pre-season to prepare for next year

| Lomax was deemed to have an itchy toe and didn't want to risk anything, Atkins broken nail will be fine for the start of SL but not early enough for the 4N, Bridge's new tattoo scab has still not healed so he misses out and Brough has haggis poisoning and is recovering with a battered mars bar diet. Any more news i'll keep you up to date.

He's 50/50 after he tripped over his didgeridoo.

| Rangi? Not sure i saw him eating fish and chips with a pint of John Smiths though he looked fine, saying that if looks could kill, i offered him a kiwi fruit, "i don't eat that foreign muck" he said i was scared at first but realised he always looks like that.

Things I learned on 11/08/12
Gareth Hock can't pass
Gareth Hock can't run
Gareth Hock can't fight

| Quote: JWP "Any apathy towards the tournament by supporters is more than matched by the players it seems. Anybody who has an injury wants it put right so that they don't miss the start of SL, then there's others who just don't want to play for 'personal reasons'.
Superleague > International RL.
That's how the players see it.'"
It is difficult to reason otherwise, TBH.
International rugby is a bit of a joke; especially with 'the man with no brain' as coach.
