I was teliing Cat about this last week but we couldn't really work it out as the way in which i was told was that it wasn't a replacement for Briers because Briers' replacement would be a marshall to guide the team around the field.

Can't see a change in focus from Waterhouse to Moi Moi myself due to us still having Big Dave and us letting Mitchell go out on loan. (Just my opinion). Time will tell if Waterhouse has pulled out. Hope we do have a plan B ready to go to.

To be honest, with the combination of the exchange rate and the NRL cap raise, I'm surprised any big name Aussies/Kiwis are coming over so it doesnt surprise me some players are rumoured to be thinking of reneging on their deals.

And to think in the two weeks since the post you are referring to was posted the only person who has subsequently reneged on his deal is a young English player with four years remaining on his five year contract.
