As I have said when I disagree with a decison made by the club, that also defies my ethics (as you claim your club has done) I will be a man of my principles and take action. I will not implicently sit back a pay the club, while also claiming the high ground. You can not do that, sorry. It makes you a hypocrite.

To be honest, I dont know how Morley has got away with that on Finch, the first attempt was a blatent attack to Finch's head, the only reason it hasnt been put on report was because Finch carried on like nothing had happened I think.

And Gareth Hock made a silly mistake at an also young age by taking a drug which is "rife" on the streets of Britain these days but certain posters on this board think it is appropriate to label him all sorts of disgusting insults.

Rife or not, it's still illegal, and as he's a proven drug user, I guess calling him an ex coke head is factually correct.

I think most of the aggro that head's Hock's way is born from the frustration that this guy could have been our next big export (or best thing in SL) if he was a tad more professional.

A focussed Hock would get into any SL team and alot of NRL, however, he has let himself down and turned out to be a bit of a big time Charlie.

I have more pity than anything for him, his raw talent could have set him & his family up for a decent life.

Cant argue with what you have said, the point I was making was that the other poster used the "forgive and forget" method when discussing Jon Clarke and the prison sentence, however this attitude seems to be different when its Hock just because its "drugs".

Maybe some people rate drugs as being worse... maybe he just doesn't like Hock because he seems a nutter on the pitch as well as off it, get over yourself.

I don't want to get into widgey measuring or anything but I would like to explain myself.

Firstly hock was a successful wigan player (wasn't young in terms of rugby league) when he took drugs (and bringing the game in disrapute) and has admited to have taken drugs several times. Completely different to what clarke did.

Secondly, hock has already embarassed himself on a rugby field since his return. Something clarke has never done.

However the point remains that the issue stemmed from centralpark's attempt to claim the morale high ground regarding hock (as well as trying to bring the name of great servants to the game through the mud) as well as defending him! If you don't think clarke or joel should play again. Don't pay to see them if they come to wigan or something!
