No not trolling, my views on Hock have been as consistent over the years, a few years ago under Noble, Hock was carrying that team, in the tough times during the void after Farrell left and when O'Loughlin was down on his form, Hock was a superb player, Paul Cullen used to go on about him on Sky more than Clarke does about Tomkins, so I wouldn't be surprised if Cullen tried to sign him. You could see right from Hock being 18 and starting out, that he was a class act, if he was an Australian he would be an Origin and Kangaroo player without doubt and we'd be going on about why do they produce players like this that we can't.

Hock for Solomona, when Solomona retires, would be a great deal for us, he would strengthen our team and weaken Wigan. In normal circumstances we aren't going to be able to sign one of their players - can you imagine us being able to sign Tomkins...? But Hock is more feasible because they may think he has baggage and needs a fresh start.

Yes it involves taking a gamble. Alex Ferguson took a gamble when he took the nutcase Cantona from Leeds, and he went on to be even more of a nutcase, stamping on players, getting sent off all the time, kung fu kicking fans. But he also turned United into a side that was unrivalled at the top.
