He certainly has been made an example of! My mate got assaulted in wigan last year,little scrote who did it didn't even get spoken too. However encounter some little gentleman with attitude problem in middlesex and you get 5 years! There's no frigging justice in the UK,that's for sure!

How can four years be an apt sentence for this type of crime, no one in their right mind could think that. I wonder what sort of sentences are being handed out to those involved in the phone hacking scandal, anyone remember that?

Four years for trying to cause a riot is an appropriate sentance. If it had happened there would have been hundreds of thousands of pounds of damage done, people would have lost their livelihoods and potentially even their lives.

The hacking scandal is an emotive crime, but no harm has been done. Phone 'hacking' is just logging into their voicemail using the standard network codes, nothing more elaborate or sinister than that. Whenever they found anything sinister they went to the Police with it.

With any hope, he'll be thrown into a cell with a black man called Bubba holding a plate of butter.
