Yes it is correct that a semi final of the most important cup competition in world RL clashes with what is essentially a pre-season football friendly.

I've been one of the first to criticise the RFL in the past, but not quite sure what they've done wrong here. Seems a bit draconian calling for them to be sacked or stand down.

BBC are very poor with Rugby League coverage. To be fair to Sky though, they're very good. Quite a lot of games in 3D now.

SKY have four dedicated live Sports channels and costs, say, £30 per month. Plus the TV licence.

BBC has no dedicated sports channels and arguably costs £12 per month.

Hardly surprising that SKY covers more live sport.
