does anybody know if the beeb are covering todays game in hd? i cant find it on the listings on virgin

BBC HD is showing Copycats and M I High instead.

poor form from the beeb.

ive never called them before for their typos and everything and do enjoy the coverage when it isn't ray french. i think the presenting team is good with claire baldwins obvious enthusiasm to learn more and more about the game, i think this translates to newcomers very well.

but to not show either of the semis in hd.

it just screams second rate for us as a sport, yes we are second to football, but to a bunch of kids shows, stick them on cbeebies or whatever

No, we're not second to anything. Its down to ignorance on the part of the BBC planners.

Blurry vision watching it in SD compared to the sport shown in HD on Sky.

Excellent coverage. Who cares if it was in HD or not?

Clare Balding as great as ever. Dave Woods and John Kear were a top team (I do love Woods' square in the air). Millward and Noble are as good as you can get and Robbie Hunter-Paul is always enthusiastic. Although I didn't watch it, it then gets followed by red button discussion.

Like the above i thought it was quite good one or two dodgy camera shots but again i did like Claire Balding, she is quite suprisingly (or not..!!!) streets ahead of world cup winning hooker mike stephenson in her summerising of a game.

The only thing wrong with yestedays coverage was a close up of Tommy leuluai's boss eyes....

Is it right that todays semi clashes with the charity shield game man utd v man city?

If thats the case the administrators of this game should be sacked or stand down because the scheduling is quite literally pathetic.
