Says the North East corner work starts next week, with the work on the South East corner starting on the 8th August.

Disabled Parking will become the construction compound with disabled parking being allocated infront of the main stand, assuming that will be along the edge of Tesco Carpark.

Anyone think this will effect capacity or crowds until the work is complete?

It will have been well planned so that it doesn't have a significant impact on our attendences, at the end of the day the people paying through the turnstyles are our biggest form of revenue outside of the sky money.

It shouldn't impact on our attendences with it being just the corners, they can do the link work once the season is over where they join both corners so the stand is as one. They will probably do all the external work first like the foundations and steel work outside then crack on when the season is over.

With a job of this size, the preliminary works will take quite a few weeks with the steelwork not going up i guess until the season is over

Wondered why they was drilling in that corner the other week, thought it was due to start end of the season.

I heard that there was a hotel going up in the North east corner along with the stand. Budget type-premierinn etc.

All paid for by a couple of the board members.
