| I Wasnt going to respond as im quite happy for folk to say what they think- no problem with it at all
Just one question though- This Wigan Bias - when is it appearing in commentary - i only ask as the number of Wigan games ive commentated on for Radio Manchester this season is .......................2
Wigan v Warrington rd 7 in which The Wolves played outstandingly well and Harlequins v Wigan round 21 which Wigan won fairly comfortably after a bit of a sticky 2nd quarter- and thats it and ive not been to any Wigan games privately either, ive seen More of Wigan on the SL Show than in the flesh!!!!!!
and
Just for the record yesterday was the 15th Wolves game ive covered for the BBC this season -
and finally despite what people want to believe ive never been a supporter of any particular club- ive loved the sport since i was a little lad and wish it would get the coverage it merits

Bravo Pip - amazed you raised your head above the parapet to be honest. You can probably tell it's a minority opinion. Now get back to your pie

I do once remember you almost screaming the studio down when Sam Tomkins scored against Leeds a couple of seasons ago..And that was followed by you shouting "Have that super league champions Leeds".... Ive been a bit suspicious since then...

is this true?
Be honest or give a little hint.
A lot of Wire fans believe there is a conspiracy against them. I just assumed you prefer the style of play of Wigan and so are a point of reference. As i said, there is nothing offensive in it. I wouldn't bring it up if someone asked about the coverage. A slight bias is a part of every radio programme. It is why I listened to the London coverage yesterday. I wanted their perspective.

| I've only ever found Phil Clarke to show bias, in fact i actually think that's a little Sky in-joke now.
Every time i listen/watch BBC/Sky i actually like the excitable guys no matter who they are.
Anyone remember that Woman on the football commentary, dreadful, no sense of timing and didn't get the 'flow' of the game right. I, living in london, don't usually listen to GMR but when i have the only problem i have is when they go to another game, the guys are top notch for me.
Psst Phil drop us a PM, i won't tell anyone else who you support, it's Swinton isn't it

Who was the presenter when the 'Amos leg breaking scandel' was on?'"
It was that fookwit Allan Beswick. Makes me cringe to think someone like that is a Warrington Wolves fan.
Horrible, horrible little man.

The morning after Roberts broke his leg, it was the lead story on GMR News on that moron's breakfast show. After the news guy mentioned it, that turd Beswick came out with the following comment:
"Can you hear the smile in my voice?"
"Oh c'mon, what's a few broken legs if it gets us a cup *chuckle*"
An absolutely shocking comment from an utter scrote, and he's got prior aswell. When Alan Ball had his heart attack and died in 2007 trying to put out a fire in his garden, Beswick said "well at least we know that he is poor at putting out fires" before laughing about it.
And what's worse......he's still on Radio Manchester.
