His attitude has caused this. I have cheered on Farrell, Sculthorpe even Long over the years when on the international scene but i find it hard to cheer Tomkins. Dont have any time for the lad and the way he goes about it on field, he is a great player but has the attitude of a poor sh**bag player you will come across in the lower leagues of north west counties where they are just after a fight.

What began as a perfectly normal thread with just about everyone agreeing that it was wrong for some England fans to boo Sam has now become the usual Wire/Wigan/Saints cock measuring contest. And since arguments for the indefensible are, by definition, pretty hard to maintain, it's now degenerated into petty personal jibes. I agree with your sentiment though, it's a shame we can't simply agree that it was out of order.
