He's undoubtedly a good player, but, IMO, he's not Lee Briers. When making the decision of who to replace Briers with, the deicision has to be the correct one. IMO we should compliment Briers when thinking of who to bring in, and perhaps look towards the NRL.

He's 1 of the best players in the league. For 2 years he had to do pretty much everything in the halves (seen as Sherwin was injured for most of his spell here). Chase was still quality solo and has been better still this year (yes having a partner in the halves helps).
As for Chase not being a "team player" - Joint top with try assists. |
