I played my first couple of masters games at Rylands at the weekend (followed by a 30 a side mass chaos match). I expected a combination of the younger lads looking to show off, and old gits using dirty tricks to compensate for the effects of age.

However it was quite the opposite, a great catch up with people I'd not seen for years, great friendly competition and no one looking for big shots. I'd certainly be tempted to give it another go.

It was my First masters experience was not sure if i was going to get smashed as i wore the white shorts full contact ahhh but it was actually quite good as said before no looking for big shots and i even scored a try in the corner and had to hurdle the rope around the pitch fantastic day.
