| I'm not middle class or a kid and I can quote loads of Slipknot songs if that helps. I was technically a teenager (nineteen) when I started listening to them twelve years ago mind.
Obviously they're not gonna stick the 'knot on the PA though, so more realistically how about that Bridge Over Troubled Water idea Yed posted the other week?

| I'm Shipping Up To Boston by dropkick murphys would be a good choice, if not when they walk out but certainly to build tension, first 45 odd seconds has no vocals, instrumental would be perfect.
A band that do have a strong connection to another sport team...not sure if that's a good thing or not in this case though.

| ..too much of the "ohh look at me, I've got swear words in my record collection, by slightly obscure bands.." attitude going on here
We need something dramatic, yet familiar to people (which was why I suggested Sirius, by Alan Parsons...ok the name doesn't ring a bell, but we've all heard it loads of times, over the years, and it's also used by a HUGE sporting club - Chicago Bulls)
Quite like Yed's idea of Bridge Over Troubled Water as a terrace anthem, though.
However, I worry over most of the South Stand's ability to reach Art Garfunkell's naturally high resonance.

I'll go with that. Skinhead On The MBTA would be better though!

bit too much of i'm too old and don't understand alternative music going on here lefty! it's the sentiment not the lyrics that count in most of the songs chosen, however in the same theme, time bomb by GBH wouldn't go amiss as an intro theme type tune! no swearing in that but good to get the neck hairs standing!
