I love Wolves but St Helens are so much bigger right now. They've won something like 19 trophies in SL whilst we've won 2 I think ????? We are catching now tho !

As you can see there is a clear transition point, I will call 2008, where Saints are poo and Wire are amazing. Okay, I am exaggerating but unless they are offering megabucks there is nothing at Saints he can't get at Wire, arguably more readily.

I don't know where he is going but I've been reliably informed that he's turned down a new contract at Warrington. The source was a bloke in a pub, or at least a function at the HJ, and the bloke should know.

Hope your right but they are still above us now. Even though we have had a great start and they have got big problems with scrum half and stand off.

Unless that bloke was TS forgive me if I'm sceptical. Saying that losing Louis is far from the worst thing that could hit us. Don't get me wrong he's been a great servant to the club and has put in some brilliant performances, but some of our academy players need to come through into first team regularls, particularly Tyrone and Lee Mitchell who seem to be the future for us, so freeing up a slot in the pack will be necessary very soon anyway.

Remember that Leeds, Wigan and Saints (later two away) have fallen by the way side of the Wire juggernaut. I worry will take out foot off the gas but if you are feeling a lil blue abut being the pitcher to Sain'ts' batter... look at their next few games.

Louis anderson will be playing for catalans next year not saints. If anyone wants to bookmark this to try and make me look foolish, feel free.

Spoke to Louis last night in person last night (the company i work for sponsor him) and he said he isn't signing for Catalans and that he is contract negotiations with Warrington. He said he wants to stay and it's just a silly rumour going round about him moving on.

Would be a shame to see Louis go. Big fan of his work ethic and aggression, lets hope these are 'silly rumours'

Between the Saints comment above and the arrogance (note I didn't say confidence) surrounding the Keighley game this forum is getting embarrassing.

Well said. The Challenge Cup wins were very good. But to become great, you have to win the Super League Title.

Until we win the Super League, we'd better be a bit more humble.
