| Quote nantwichexile="nantwichexile"I am an exiled Leeds fan living in Nantwich with a 14 year old step-son... who has [inever[/i seen a live RL match (he is RU indoctrinated - poor lad
).
I am planning to bring him along Saturday and would appreciate some advice as to where to sit ( would prefer not to be behind goals ), costs, what time to arrive for paying on gate etc. Somewhere good to get burger etc ? Parking ? Any other useful advice.
As it's his first ever game I am relying on this match being a good, competitive, attractive open game with great tries and a close result (in Leeds' favour of course)...thus showing him all that's the best about RL. Don't let me down.
'"
If he's 14 and you are atempting to bring him over from the dark side, my advice would be to go in the west stand. Granted it's behind the sticks, but that is where the atmosphere will be. The stadium probably has one of the best away stands in super league. I've never stood in the west stand, but from my experience of other grounds' away ends, the west stand must take some beating. If you want him to experience all that RL has to offer there is only one choice.
Not sure how ticket sales are going. For lesser games you can pay on the gate, but if I were you I would buy in advance.

Hope you enjoy it.

| Thanks for all the help and advice lads ..even if there is a little bit of conflicting advice about the North stand.. Lol
Don't want to let him down... He's pretty excited about seeing some bluddy good rugby based on my assertion both teams play good attractive stuff.... so might just drop by the ground tomorrow if I can and secure some tickets.

| The North stand would be fine but your seat would more than likely be near the goal line at either end. Leeds fans will be in the west stand.
You'll have a great time. If you arrive 30 to 45 minutes before kick off you will be able to park on the car park on the south stand side of the ground about 200 yaards away for £2.60 I think. Tickets can be bought from the windows next to the wolfware shop on the north side of the ground. Hope that helps

| Whilst I appreciate you have said you don't want to be behind the sticks, the view from the East stand is the best in the ground in my humble.

Yep, i'd support that, great stand tbh, and I much prefer this view to a side-on view, although that is personal preference.
TBH for a game like this where there should be a big crowd on and a good atmosphere I think you'll both have a great time anyway, so just get a ticket for any seat and get in there.
This is my first game of the year, and will be my only one for a while, and I can't wait.

| East Stand, or the eastern end of the North Stand would give you and your lad a better view of the big screen (essential for seeing just how blind, clueless, ignorant of the rules, or simply bent the video ref is ).

| i was told this morning when i purchased my hospitality seats for the east stand that east stand is sold out(we had reserved in the morning before picking them up), and the only tickets left in the north were towards the west stand!
so good luck getting tickets sitting! for the banter and atmosphere id try to go in the west with your fans and that way hell get a bit more of the atmosphere from your end etc.
