I was in there for a mates fortieth, when we played Wigan at home last year (he's a non RL fan, and didn't know 2 of us would miss the game). We got in, asked them to put the rugby on ONE of their many TV's they eventually said yes. Then, after 5 mins, they turned it off, so ALL of the TVs in there, showed the clash of the football titans that was Portsmouth v Stoke. Doubtless to say, one of our party "kicked off" on them, and we got our drinks money back!

I didn't bother trying in the end as none of my mates are into RL and I didn't see much point sloping off on my own when there wasn't much chance of finding it on anywhere anyway.

Based on what I've since read on here that was no bad thing. Still, opening games often don't go to plan so onwards and upwards.
