| Quote: seanm89 "too flaming right he isnt,
someone states that monaghan is horrendous, and needs getting rid of, what a bright spark that person is!
oh how two years can change a club eh!'"
I hold my hands up about a monaghan, i thought he was pretty poor at 7, even though we did win the the challenge cup this year with him there, but the year before he was playing at 9 and he won lance todd think this is the reason he has become the player he was in the nrl again, playing in the correct posistion !!!!

| That was quite a nasty comment from me saying "Tony Smith will have a better player and person coming in than Briers". I was probably annoyed at our bad form and getting sucked into listening to all the rumours about Briers like people do when they slag off Gleeson.
I didn't used to be a big fan of Briers but in the past 2 years I have come round to appreciate him, he's been a quality player for us and as a bloke he's proved himself as a leader (even since not being captain) and someone who's committed to the Wire. I think as well he's shown us more of his personality in the past couple of years, to the media etc, and he comes over well.

Things I learned on 11/08/12
Gareth Hock can't pass
Gareth Hock can't run
Gareth Hock can't fight

| think briers has been performing well before the last two years but he has now just got quality around what makes it easier for him to perform.
