If you are referring to the "story" in the Sydney Morning Herald you should know that it's a complete fake. I buy the paper every morning and it certainly isn't in my copy or on the SMH web site.

The only reference to Matt King in the last year has him saying

"I will definitely be here next year, there are only two teams I would ever play for, Storm and the Wolves. But I can't predict the future," he said.

But before Storm fans get their hopes up, King is pretty content with his lot at Warrington.

"The footy side of things is wonderful. Two trips to Wembley and we are about to hopefully get in a good spot for September and I have a list of countries as long as my arm that I have travelled to this year," he said.

"It is a no-brainer."

From what I saw, Monaghan was extremely bladdered, had his winky out and the dog, like most dogs would do, was sniffing curiously at the offending piece of meat......Probably very funny at the time among a group of p!$sed up rugby players, just a tad embarrassing when you have sobered up.... icon_lol.gif

What Joel Monaghan did was vile and he has apologised, which does not make it right at all. I only hope he keeps his head down, does what he does best and score tries for the Wire. He'll just have to take the dog chants on the chin in my opnion...

I can't believe how many virtuous people we have on R L Fans. No one has ever done anything stupid whilst highly intoxicated that they would later regret once sober? Obviously no amateur players here, because some of the drinking games you boys play are disgusting!

JM didn't 'do' anything to the dog. The dog did what dogs do. Dogs sniff, lick and hump anything given the opportunity, even drunk rugby players. I thought I was straight-laced but I'm way off compared to you lot!

Just think how long a list we could do of Wigan players and the Wigan clubs indiscretions over the years, just read the Gazz Hock (second coming) thread, hypocrisy has always been strong with some Wigan fans.
