I highly recommend getting to an amateur game if you can. For my sins I live in Halifax and often watch Siddal on a weekend. Its a really good standard of rugby.

I'm poking fun at Paul and Sally. You have listed shopping, learning to drive and playing in a band as how you will likely be spending your winter. Typically, these activities would be carried out by young and/or female people. By suggesting that Sally and Paul would be doing the same, I am implying that they are somehow young and/or female. To the best of my knowledge, they are neither. Hence I am poking fun at them on the grounds of their age and/or sex.
