It doesn't really matter now. Wigan were given the punishment deemed fit by the governing body and remained in Super League. They've finished top this season by following the rules and being the best team.

Wigan have been the most consistent team in the regular season. They finished top and deserved too, and they were the best team I saw us play at the HJ this season. I wouldn't begrudge them a Grand Final win. Some of their fans are utter tools and need to have a look at themselves, as do some of ours.
We (Warrington) have had a good season in all; challenged for top spot for most of the season, and retained the challenge cup for the first time in our history. We failed in the play off's with two pretty poor performances, it's happened, i'm annoyed with it now, but i'll also get over it.
Saints, Leeds, and Huddersfield have hit form at the right time and also deserve to be where they are now.
It's as easy as that.'"
