Whats the point in an away kit if were not going to wear it..... Away from home

Technically it's true that it's first choice and alternative kits rather than "home" and "away" and the alternative should only really be worn away from home where there's a colour clash (ie Leeds away and that's it I think).

However, most clubs now wear their alternative kit at every away game unless it clashes with the home club's first choice kit simply because the more it's worn the more they'll sell. Not many people will buy it if it's only worn once a season will they?

I'd rather we did it the old fashioned way personally but it's not really a big deal.

There is a saying: 'Red and green should never be seen, except upon an Irish Coleen'! The colours clash. Only Australians would put them together. (Newcastle Knights are equally gastly), why on earth imitate them? Primrose and blue are the club colours. Surely an alternative kit could be designed to avoid any clash.
