the final standings in the table will always show who has been the superior side. This season Wigan are the superior side then us then yourselves. Winning a knockout competition doesnt change that.

The last three years in a row a knockout competition bitchslapped you though didn't it. You can be as "superior" as you like but if you dont win any trophies it means jack.

League position should mean a great deal, its a long season and if your enjoyment comes in only in august and october then i feel your not getting the full RL experience.

Oh no doubt I'd have loved to have finished second, but in five years time we'll remember who won at Wembley and at Old Trafford, not who finished second or third (might even struggle to remember who finished top).
