My father in law shed a tear when Lee was mentioned as the Lance Todd winner.I think after him watching 40 + years of Wire,he knew there was no better person than Briers to win that award.And after the years he has watched Wire than i think the father in law knows Briers is one of the legends of Warrington RL Club.And rightly so in my book.

I went mental at the semi, especially when Hicks went in for the winning try. I don't remember shedding a tear that day, although I do remember trying to sleep in the garden of the Cricketers Arms

could feel the tears welling up in my eyes, and then some scum decided to start fighting in the row in front of me and completley spoiled the moment

I will put my hand up, i shed a tear, this is a very emotional time for for me though as my dad passed away 2 years ago on 30th August 2008 and as this is also my birthday it takes the pain away a little to see the club i love succeed on this weekend especially and long may it continue
