This story was in the (paper version of) Sunday Times today also, along with a very complimentary piece about Warrington.

If true and one or even both were to test positive would that mean that Warrington would be stripped of the title/trophy and be made to pay money back or would the RFL deem banning one or both as sufficent punishment?

When he won the Harry Sunderland trophy and became the first man to score a hat trick in the final, he was selected for the pee test.
He was so dehydrated he couldn't give the sample and he had to drink litres of water and couldn't get on the coach back to Wigan. It was something like 4 hours before he could give his sample and then get a lift back to join the celebrations.
