M1 is best route roadworks at luton are not a problem parking at watford junction and tube it in a lot lot easyer
if doing M40 you have got hanger lane to contend with and it is not nice at the best of times

M40 get off at Junction 2 head for Gerrards Cross station free parking £5 return train every 10 to 20 minutes take you to Wembly Central right near the ground coming back no waiting as they all want to go to London.

Going from Milton Keynes but decided it was worth paying £20 parking 1/2 mile from the stadium rather than use the train - even with concessions etc.

Thinking of going at 10.30 to get there for 12.30 (latest) for a couple of beers and then in to Wembley around 1.30-2.00.

A walk up Wembley way sounds just the ticket

M42 is a sticky spot at the moment...little tip for those that don't know..they let you use the hard shoulder as a lane if its heavy traffic....it can get you through the traffic quickly if you use it.

Honk your horns when you drive past junction 11 on the M40....we might just hear you all!

Word of note, although i think it will be sorted by Saturday...big jams on M40 northbound this evening. Lorry fire which destroyed part of the carriage way

(saw previous post about Gerards Cross but Chiltern Trains state it costs £3.50 to park on a Saturday and access to stations is disrupted by work on new tesco store)
