He shouldnt be rested, he isnt a player that needs a rest. Your big forwards need a rest, Benny i could see sense in resting, but your current star player, no way. No logic whatsoever, why risk breaking up his form????? He doesnt look tired, if anything give him MAYBE an extra 10 mins on the bench, but his name HAS to be on that teamsheet.

We won't rest anyone this week, least of all Monaghan. Rumour has it that Micky Higham has a broken thumb, which will mean that either V. Anderson will cover Monas or Jon Clarke will return one week ahead of schedule.

rest monas start clarke as he would be useless of the bench (not an impact hooker) higham come off the bench as he is an impact hooker running at people. im just worried that clarke will come in then all we going to see is slow play off the ball. at least with higham we play quick rugby.

All this is now irrelevant due to Higham being out.
