if they do get there new stadium it will mean they will probabely go into debt if we get a team like widnes/leigh who allready have grounds and if they are playing at home teams like warrington (us) the pies and saints they are bound to get fans going to watch them!!

I think that the new stadium will be a massive boost for Salford. Due to it's location it is a great big advertising hoarding. The average gate will increase and will put them in a better position to spend towered the upper limit of the cap. Maybe then they can actually make some of the sort of signings that they have promised. They will just need a decent coach.

To be fair to Bomber he has achieved a fair bit in northern hemisphere RL.

- Coach of the Year award in 1996.
- Challenge Cup in 1996 and in 1997.
- Super League in 1996.
- Triple of National League, Northern Rail Cup, League Leaders Trophy in 2008.

He compares favourably to other 'decent coaches' much vaunted on here, Paul Cullen for one.

Used to work in Trafford Park and you're right, it will. Dispite that, it may be the only thing that provides the Reds with a SL ticket come next year. Widnes have to be in but wouldn't like to say who will make way for them.
