| PATHETIC PATHETIC PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would anybody like to tell me where we were in the league this time last season?????
9TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We finished 9 NINETH!!!!!!!!!!
We are now fighting for topspot and we are not good enough????????
Stupid people with stupid expectations, I am amazed at how well we have done so far this season and I am proud of my team. I will be a very happy person if we finish the season 6th because it would be a massive improvement on last season.
If you have expectations so high that you can't take a NARROW defeat from a top club in a fantastic, exciting enjoyable game of rugby league then I am sure you will fit in nicely at Wigan or Saints! You are not worthy of wearing our colours and I wish not to be tarred with your disgusting negative brush!

| I fully understand this obsession with beating the 3 'top' teams. But surely this is better than being turned over by 'lower' teams - which all 3 of the 'top' teams have succumbed to? Personally I thought in the first half we were the better side. Leeds likewise for the second. Thus same amount of tries, kicking being the difference.
I would love to see Warrington come out and play a perfect game each week but they are not machines. Having watched a number of Saints, Leeds and Wigan games on Sky this year, neither are they perfect.
I for one am still smiling at the prospect of possibly making Wembley and my team being 2nd in the league. Thank you lads.

| I for one agree with the first poster and disagree with the media and opposition fans alike. Ok, so we haven't beaten Leeds, Saints or Wigan as yet but the margins of loss in each of these games has been minimal.
I watched the game again last night, without my beer soaked bias from Sunday, and can honestly say there was nothing between the two sides. Eddie and Stevo banged on about a Champion side retaining composure etc etc and maybe there was an element of that involved, but I seriously think we had enough opportunites to win it. I'm not knocking Leeds, they did enough the win the game in the end, but if a couple of incorrect ref decisions had gone our way, Monaghan had backed himself, Riley had caught the ball, Atkins didn't throw two wild passes into touch and Briers kicked all goals....we would have won.
Fact is, all of these items were nothing to do with Leeds. And when you look at things that way you can clearly see we have the ability to beat all these title contenders.
With Saints we fell short on kicks, again nothing to do with Saints.
With wigan we knocked on with their line begging, ok yes this was down to pressure in the defensive line but again, its something that could have come off for the win.
The long and the short is that yes, we have come up short in these games but they have been more down to our own mistakes rather than being outplayed and not even contesting the win.
Head up lads, we'll get there!!

Erm, this time last season we were 7th, not 9th.
And we finished 10th.
